Quick Tips:
- Charging - Charge the tablet using the factory-provided Adaptive Fast Charger prior to day start.
- Wallpaper - Tablet Home Screen "Wallpaper" background should use the default setting only - Do Not use a custom wallpaper. Navigate to Apps > Settings, Touch Wallpaper. Choose one of the defaults.
- WiFi - Turn off WiFi to prevent scanning. Navigate to Apps > Settings, Touch Search, and then search for and select WiFi.
- Display Brightness - Navigate to Apps > Settings, Touch Search, and then search for and select Brightness; or swipe down on the notification bar from your Home Screen and adjust the brightness as needed.
- Screen Timeout - you can shorten your tablet’s screen timeout. Navigate to Apps > Settings, Touch Search, and then search for and select Screen timeout. Select the desired option. Choose a lower setting to save the most battery life!
- Recent Apps - Always close your recent Apps. These are running in the background and use additional power. At the bottom of your tablet, select the hamburger button and close all other Apps except the one you currently use.
Additional Tips:
- BatteryDevice Care - Navigate to Apps > Settings > Battery Device Care. Apps with the highest percentage, which is usually the "Screen," consume most of the power. Use Caution when setting the Power Saving Mode as this may cause some Apps to be disabled, including Network Data usage.

Battery Basics
- This device has a 5000 mAh Li-Ion (lithium-ion) non-removable battery with Adaptive Fast Charging Support (50% 30 min, 100% 100 min).
- Battery life depends on the network, signal strength, temperature, features, and accessories.
- It is common for batteries to be warm from use or charging.
- Only use manufacturer-approved charging accessories to prevent potential device and/or battery damage.
- Unlike NiCad batteries, lithium-ion batteries do not have a charge memory. That means deep-discharge cycles are not required. In fact, it's better for the battery to use partial-discharge cycles.
There is one exception. Battery experts suggest that after 30 charges, you should allow lithium-ion batteries to almost completely discharge. Continuous partial discharges create a condition called digital memory, decreasing the accuracy of the device's power gauge. So let the battery discharge to the cut-off point and then recharge. The power gauge will be recalibrated.
