Technician Quick Reference Guide: Entering Labor Register Lines
Labor register entries record the time spent performing work on a job, including repairs, travel, or additional services.
Access the Register
From the STATUS screen, select REGISTER at the bottom.
You will see four tabs:
Register (Review Only)
Parts - Enter Truck Stocking Parts.
Labor - Technician, O/T Technician for Onsite Labor and Travel Labor, O/T Travel Labor.
Miscellaneous - Enter Mileage and other misc items.
The Register tab displays all combined entries for parts, labor, and miscellaneous items.
⚠ Important:
You can only edit register lines entered on today's date.
Entries from previous days cannot be edited.
Adding Labor
Select the LABOR tab.
Select + Add LABOR.
Labor Entry Steps
Select the Repair field.
Choose the appropriate Repair Code.
Enter the number of hours worked.
Review the entry.
Select:
Save (for a single entry)
Save & Add Another (to add additional labor lines, such as Travel labor or other Repair Codes)
Adding a Helper Technician
If another technician is assisting: (Does not have RFS)
Select the Technician field.
Choose the helper technician’s name.
Enter their labor time as needed.
Selecting Equipment
You may link labor entries to specific equipment.
Use the Equipment Field Search.
Select the equipment you are working on if it exists in the system database.
This ensures the labor is properly tied to the equipment’s service history.
✅ Tip: Linking labor to equipment helps maintain accurate equipment service records and warranty tracking.
