Technician Quick Reference Guide: Work Notes, Recommendations, and Office Notes
Use the Notes feature to document work performed and communicate with both the customer and the office.
Access notes by selecting Notes at the bottom of the STATUS screen.
Work Order Notes (Customer Viewable)
These notes are visible to the customer and appear on the final work order documentation.
Required: Work Performed
Select Notes.
Select Work Order Note.
In the Subject line, type your name.
In the body, describe the repairs or work performed.
Select Save.
Optional: Recommendations
Use this note to recommend future repairs or improvements.
Select Work Order Note again.
In the Subject line, type Recommendation.
In the body, describe the recommended repair or service.
Select Save.
Office Notes (Internal Only)
Office Notes are internal communications between you, dispatch, and management.
⚠ Customers cannot see Office Notes.
Steps
Select Office Note.
Enter a topic name in the Subject line.
Provide a detailed explanation in the body.
Select Save.

Dispatcher updates
Job complications
Customer conversations
Billing or warranty notes

Work Order Notes = Customer-facing documentation
Office Notes = Internal communication with dispatch and management
