Technician Quick Reference Guide: Navigating the File Room
The File Room found in the Menu selection stores attachments related to the work order, including files synced from Vision Work Order Attachments.
From this screen, you can add, view, and manage attachments such as:
Files
Pictures
Videos
Master Forms
Saved Attachments
Select Saved Attachments to manage files you plan to include with your work order.
From this section, you can:
Edit attachments
Email attachments to managers, dispatchers, and customers.
Include attachments with the signed work order during checkout
You will also find a Master Forms shortcut at the bottom of the screen.
Adding Images or Files
Common examples of photos to capture:
Receipts
Before and after job photos
Equipment damage (ex: hit dispenser)
Water in sump
Installation photos
Steps to Capture an Image
Select + Add File at the bottom of the screen.
Select Capture Image.
Enter a custom image name.
Select Take Picture.
Review the photo.
If correct, select Use Photo.
The image will now appear in the File Room, where you can view or add it as a saved attachment.
Saving and Managing Attachments
Select Add As Saved Attachment from the File Room.
From there, you can:
Email
View
Delete the attachment.
⚠ If you delete a saved attachment, then refresh your work order, the image will reappear in the File Room as long as you still have a live connection.
Photo Tip
📸 Rotate your tablet to the left and take pictures horizontally.
This ensures images appear right-side up for office staff instead of sideways or upside down.
✅ Tip: Always capture clear documentation photos for installations, damage, and receipts to support billing, warranty claims, and service records.
